Collecting the Data

After the students understand the problem and know what questions to ask, they begin collecting data.  Students in Ms. Young's class used regular and pretzel goldfish crackers to simulate the capture, release, and recapture of their Salmon.  The students will fill out a data sheet before they move to the computer.
