Course Objectives:

This course is intended to provide an overview of the foundational syntax, knowledge and application of beginning HTML 4.0 through hands-on experience. Below is a brief description of each section of this course:

  • Building Blocks - Learn the essential elements of Web pages and HTML
  • HTML Documents - Examine basic HTML page elements and document structure
  • Tags - Explore a variety of tags and how they are used to describe content on a Web page
  • Hyperlinks - Identify the essential elements of internal and external hyperlinks
  • CSS - Become familiar with the basic syntax of Cascading Style Sheets
  • Forms - View sample code containing complex forms
