Current Research Focus
In recent years there has been explosive growth in the number of sites with video content. Many of these are video-sharing sites where both amateurs and professionals can upload short video clips. There are now millions of short video clips on the Internet. The potential of this vast resource is compelling and worthy of attention from researchers, scholars, and teachers.
The following sites were established as part of my research in this area.
- Web-Based Video in Education Blog: A blog that focuses on instructional strategies, research, Web-based video archives, and video reviews. http://web-based-video.blogspot.com/
- YouTube Channel: My YouTube channel containing original content, playlists, and subscriptions of videos for education and edtech. http://www.youtube.com/csnelsonbsu
- YouTube for Educators Group: This is a YouTube group that was established for video sharing and discussion.
