Grants

  • Primary Investigator: YouTube Across the Curriculum. Grant pre-proposal submitted for the Idaho Technology Incentive Grant. The project was designed to train faculty on academic video production and the use of YouTube for education. Not funded.
  • Primary Investigator: Preparing Faculty to Teach in the Metaverse: Idaho Technology Incentive Grant pre-proposal for a teaching simulation in Second Life. One of seven grant pre-proposals selected through a competitive process at BSU. The finished proposal was submitted to the Idaho State Board of Education. Not Funded.
  • Grant Manager: Project Coordinator/Designer PBL Co-Laboratory, Spring-Summer 2006. This work involved supervising a programmer, obtaining resources, writing code, developing graphic icons for the interface, conducting project meetings, managing the budget for a grant funded by the Buck Institute for Education (BIE), and coordinating an online Webcast to demonstrate the Co-Laboratory to invited guests located in the United States and China. Funded for $27,000 as one of a series of grants from BIE.
