Our graduate assistantships are currently filled for the 2009-2010 academic year. To apply for 2010-11, please see below. The Department of Educational Technology is pleased to announce openings for Graduate Assistantships for the 2010-11 academic year, August 2010 to May 2011. EDTECH graduate assistantships provide an excellent opportunity to:
Graduate assistants must be fully admitted into the EDTECH degree program, must enroll for a minimum of 9 credit hours each semester (6 units if part-time), and must meet any other requirements as set forth by the Graduate College. Must have completed full admission to Master's program in order to apply. Incomplete applicants cannot be considered. Priority is given to currently enrolled students. Distance-based GAs will be considered. The GA application deadline is March 1, 2010. The application form is available on the web: http://www.boisestate.edu/gradcoll/forms/form_grad_assistantship26.pdf Please include a short introduction indicating 1) how many hours a week you can work (20=full-time, 10=part-time), 2) how many semesters you can work (fall and/or spring), and 3) whether you can work on campus or distance-based only. Each graduate assistant is expected to work 20 hours per week to assist faculty with their teaching and research efforts. In return, the graduate assistant receives full waiver of course fees plus a $10,000 stipend (paid in biweekly installments over 9 months). Limited opportunities are also available as a part-time GA, working 10 hours per week and/or one semester per year.
