Master of Science in Educational Technology

Requirements

Applicants to the Master of Science in Educational Technology degree program must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, take the GRE, submit a writing sample for admission, and complete a thesis for their culminating activity.

Minimum GRE scores are 1000 combined in verbal and quantitative, and 4.2 in analytical.

Course work
Course work focuses on theoretical foundations, hands-on technology skills, and integration strategies for today's classrooms. The program is specifically designed to meet the needs of educational technologists who enjoy inquiry, research oriented work, and are considering a doctoral degree.

Faculty
Most Educational Technology faculty hold doctoral degrees and have practical experience in the field.  The exception to this is the faculty member with an MA degree who is deemed to be an expert practioner in their field.
